No Change

Interesting to hear that you have not been here for 30 years. Not that much has probably changed since then although the EU sponsored roads have improved things considerably. The smaller village roads remain pretty much the same as they have for years.
The mountains make interesting viewing, particularly yesterday afternoon when the sun and the clouds gave an unusual combination. The amount of snow on the mountains is unknown at present due to low cloud however the snow has been more or less present since the beginning of December.

Dave and I have been out to exercise the puppies for a few minutes. They had been in their cages since 08:15 so I expected a severe level of ‘fallout’ but was pleasantly surprised. They ran around and did as expected. They ate some food and barked at the workmen who are busy, despite the rain, on the adjacent building site. I could see that they were quaking in their boots with that pack of fearsome dogs on the other side of the fence. Not that the fence has much effect on the puppies since they are small enough to get through the mesh – it is reinforcing mesh so is still big enough to let them pass for the moment. There are sliding gates which lead to the beach: I open them for Dave and Boris but the puppies can mostly pass through without trouble. Recently I’ve noticed that the larger ones are beginning to struggle so the food is having an effect.
It is still raining but not too hard to prevent me from walking on the beach. The sea is still quite warm so I went for a paddle. You’d need to be brave to paddle in UK in February! Unless you are Pete who regularly takes himself off into the sea at all times of the year. I’m sure it’s unhealthy…

I’d better do some work as there are emails to attend to…
