Our little mother-to-be is no longer a mother-to-be as she was in the throws of giving birth to her little ones on a rug in the room of one of the guests.
Update
She now has seven puppies and it looks like she has finished.
I have just been up to the room to see the mother who is still on the mat under the bed in the guest’s room. She has now got seven little puppies sucking up to her and they look so cute.
The lady renting the room left her teenage daughter in charge and she is keeping an eye on things. We may leave her and her brood under the bed for the time being then transfer them to the pen outside in the yard. I have put the largest of the two dog crates in there so she will be out of the wind and in the dry.
