Latest scandal from Grammeno…

It’s all quite Sunday evening here as the sun is moving round behind the trees, casting a shadow on the decking and the van. The ‘puppies’ are beating each other up and some of the customers will, no doubt, be heading home following their jolly weekend away at Grammeno.

Dennis is working at the building site again today as I saw him pushing a large barrow of concrete up the sloping entrance to where another was laying the drive. I was passing by on my way to the supermarket this morning.
I was amused to watch Obi slowly creep towards Boris’ house to see if there were any signs of life. Boris is spending the day up by the entrance in the former puppy compound in response to his antisocial behaviour towards Dave earlier. He circumnavigated the house before deciding that Boris was not present, and leaving again.
I will be leaving to take them out for their walk fairly soon and have just had to repair the hole in the fence where they were escaping into the adjacent field. Millie decided it would be good to venture further afield so stood on the field side of the fence barking at the people within the camping. Fortunately both she and Charlie, who was also AWOL, reappeared when I summoned them back inside their compound. The hole in the fence has now been reinforced by means of an additional piece of reinforcing grid wired to the existing fence with a large chunk of reinforced concrete from a broken concrete block put on the ground on the inside. It will probably only be a matter of time before I see puppies walking around the compound with bags of sand in their pockets as they start their next escape project. I would have let them continue to go out if they had remained more discrete.
