Janne and Erica arrived this morning

I was awoken at 01:25 to barking small dogs due to the arrival of Janne and Erica. For a change, Erica does not appear to be that unwell although she can feel something ‘coming on’. They were up late this morning unsurprisingly, then went out for breakfast. I was trying to ensure the dogs were quiet so as not to disturb them. We had a chat and they admired Princess and The Pea. Erica even made noises about taking Pea back to Sweden with them!

There are less people in the camping now that the French couple have left. They came to pay at 10:15 as I was getting ready to go to the supermarket. For the first time this year, I rode to the supermarket in only shorts and a polo shirt. Now, it has clouded over so the temperature has dropped. Hopefully Janne and Erica will have good weather since it was rather wet and cold when they were here at New Year.
Princess is discovering the correlation between barking at the arriving Albanians and being soaked by the hose. I think she will understand how the system works in a couple of days.
Antonis appeared, accompanied by the man who makes blinds and tents. He measured up for the blind to go into the structure Antonis created for me at the east end of the awning tent. He will get me a price in a few days hopefully.
Pea enjoyed himself digging into the pile of ballast I shifted from the Boris compound a couple of weeks back. I’ll add some photos later.
Janne gave Antonis a commission to find or build a trailer chassis for him as he wants to build a store for his bicycles and bits and pieces. There is a tax on permanent buildings however anything on wheels doesn’t count. Fortunately the inspector didn’t notice the bathroom behind their caravan.
My assistant dog walker was not around last night as they were out and it looks as though they are out again today. Can’t get the staff. They come here for a holiday and then expect to enjoy themselves.
I’ll take the dogs out in half an hour or so but need to sweep out the van beforehand.
Fido found himself spending the night in Charlie’s house as he discovered a particularly disgustingly smelly squid on the beach and decided to eat and roll in it. I decided I would prefer Charlie’s company to Fido’s so swapped them over. Charlie was delighted to be moved up with the Big Boys and to sleep in the van. Hopefully Fido will get the message that smelly dogs are unwelcome in the van.
