No, not Anydri again!

A more sensible departure around 05:20 today and an absence of Salt Man although someone appeared in the distance. Maybe it was him? Boris’ ball yet dimmer but still functioning admirably as a ball. Back after 07:00 for tea but I was fiddling with Ursula’s iphone installing an application to keep her password information secure as it’s been driving me mad. Now all I have to do is a ‘quick’ session on how to use it. We also played with AirDrop which allows you to ‘drop’ an item from one Apple device to another. Very handy when you have a bunch of photos or videos and heaps quicker than sharing them over the shared folders. Fine if it’s a one-to-one situation.

Ursula returned with Minnie who had sloped off at the end of the walk with Obi. Playing with their little fiends Micky and Five in the camping. Later Obi surrendered and was returned by Ursula. She was then given a very fine donation from the German guy with the tent on his pickup roof. She brought him in with her to see the dogs and he arrived bearing a box of bone biscuits. The sort I used to buy when I had a lot less dogs. We chatted and I walked back with him to his pickup whereupon he gave me another €50 note (£45)! He said that we were doing such a good job and he wanted to help. A very generous man. He was leaving to continue his search of the island for birds of prey but said he’d return later to see me.

A couple of support calls after dropping Princess to spend some time with Tony and Ursula. I set up the CCTV camera for the final installation in the bar once Georgia returns from Chania with the cable.

Off to Anydri around 15:00 for a leisurely lunch in the To Skolio restaurant. The cheesecake was nicer than last time and preceded by spinach lasagne. All very yummy in a most pleasant surrounding.

Stuffed! The happy diners in a selfie taken after the meal

Back at Grammeno I got on with the Bar camera setup with diminished enthusiasm once I’d been welcomed back by the dogs. Anyone would think I’d been away for a week and not just a couple of hours!

Ursula is coming for tea and then we shall depart for her final evening dog walk until September.

Dogs now walked and tucked up for the night so quite peaceful outside on this warm night. The maximum temperature for today was 31.4C and it’s still 23C at 22:17. Various bugs are attracted to my laptop screen which makes for some interesting viewing at times. I’m not sure I shall be late to bed this evening.
