Only three weeks to go

Some baking in the night which may have been pussy-induced. The kittens are becoming bolder particularly if there’s no food in their bowl. I suspect they were in the trees as they have taken to walking along Janne and Erica’s fence to wind up the dogs and to get my attention. The dogs rush out to bark at the pussies making it rather difficult to ignore them. I think they were just bored in the night so went for a wander. I had to go out to speak to SBD as he was having problems understanding shuuuuush!!!! at 01:00. He quickly got the message so we all went back to sleep.

We were out around 05:35 passing Kostas as he drove off in his Jeep. He gave a cheery greeting as he was consumed by the early morning gloom. Our walk was the most extensive since last Monday as we all went up and down the Promontory twice as well as across the rocks. Only Oskar and Charlie were off on the first walk as Fido was a little naughty yesterday. SBD, Luis, Skinny and I went past the three tents pitched in one of the preferred locations. They have been there for a few days and seem well equipped with chairs and all sorts of sundry paraphernalia. Their three cars were alone in the Grammeno Beach car park. Luis went to bark enthusiastically at a lone woman walker near the lagoon. He came puffing after us once he discovered we’d moved. We were back at the camping around 08:00.

The morning was very busy with a support call from Inter Sport. They’d had some electrical work the previous evening which had upset the computers and network. We sorted it all out and got everything going again. Then it was Matthew’s turn as he couldn’t print his invoices. There is also the ongoing matter of the EG websites…

I’ve been playing with IPV6 and learning a bit more about that, a shower, cooking some potatoes and reading the papers. All in a day’s work. I’ll need to go shopping before long as I’m running out of things to eat. I shall probably walk to Kountoura on Friday morning then get some more on Monday after my horsepiddle visit for removal of my stitches.

The high today is 32.7℃ with a low of 23.9℃ although it felt colder in the night.

About the same as the past few days. Μιχάλησ was requesting an hour or so of rain earlier!

I seem to be answering quite a few negative ratings and reviews recently particularly in the case of the restaurant. I’ve not looked back at last year yet but have a feeling there are many more negative responses. I’m dealing with far fewer accommodation and booking enquiries than last year. Last year, most enquiries were from the UK. Perhaps people are not going away due to the uncertainty of Brexit, the possibility of a recession and general political fatigue.
