Shades Of Red

Slightly different shades of red but we’re a bit light on green…

As we strode towards the Promontory I could see Venus and an abundance of stars but it was still cold! I have many different layers and also a neck warmer pulled up over my face. For speed and simplicity, we took the road towards the river again and back again. Some dogs go on the road anyway so at least having them all with me I can see what they’re up to.

It was getting light as we walked up the Big Beach even though we start out earlier most days. It’s less than two weeks before the clocks go forward so I need to get my head around the time change as we will lose an hour compromising my morning schedule

I sat and drank tea, made some glue, fed the cats then took Isabella for her second walk. It was still cold…

Having fed the dogs, I put washing on for Sandra then made the doggy dins and fed myself. The morning was very inactive. I played with YouTube then set about pruning unused accounts from EG’s Google Office Suite. I’ve been investigating a way to remove accounts en masse by means of a clever Sheets add-on. This should save some time. It was still cold…

The postman delivered a package for Anke which I then took to her. Soon after, ACS brought a package for Sandra so I walked about the camping quite a bit. It was still cold…

The afternoon pottered by so I found myself processing DDs and putting rice and the like on for later. I received a phone call announcing the arrival of more Swiss: friends of the first couple. They plan to stay for a few days. Their criteria included: electricity, hot showers, gas and pizza. We were able to furnish all of these. They are parked near to their friends who are parallel to the restaurant kitchen.

I had a support call from Simon and then took the dogs for another walk around the Promontory. It was cloudy and looking very grey unlike the day before. It was still cold…

The dogs have eaten and are mostly inside snoring: Luis more loudly than most. I have food in the pot and the DD’s needs putting in the fridge. Isabella has consolidated herself a little and Skinny in curled up into a ball right next to me. I think Oskar and Obi are outside. I need fewer dogs, smaller dogs or larger accommodation. It’s reasonable in here as the gas heater has been on for a while. The wind is getting up. It’s still cold…

A generally dull and cold day but at least it wasn’t windy. Tomorrow is forecast to be sunnier which shouldn’t be hard as we managed only 2.8kWh despite the cloudiness.
