I was in bed quite early as I felt tired, read for a little while before falling asleep. I woke up quite early because Luis was fidgeting around nearby. The dogs were all for getting up at 04:45 however I was not and my will prevailed. They were directed to go back to bed until such time.

A body at the end of the Promontory caught Oskar unawares and was joined by Charlie with a little help from Luis. The body was meditating as we returned in the opposite direction later when it was lighter.

It was getting light as we reached the river which is heading in the correct direction where crossing by me is concerned. Isabella, Obi and Skinny enjoyed chasing birds beyond the river towards Plakaki. The others snuffled around and ate their biscuits.

We could see the white van, the same as the other day, complete with dog, parked in the same location. This time, the door was closed so there was muffled barking from within as the dogs explored without.

The meditator seems to embrace doggy company but we didn’t linger anyway.

It was after seven when we were back at the camping which was in darkness due to the second power cut of the weekend. I made tea, fed cats and took Sandra’s timer-washing to her. The washing had completed before the power went off.

I did some mental workouts and rode over Panorama and up the mountain. It was pleasant. On my return, I fed the dogs and then wandered the camping for departures. The woman in Z5 who’d complained to Maria on Friday evening complained to me however it was evident she was just looking to complain and to impress upon me she is a frequent customer. I wasn’t going to placate her but did my best considering her unreasonableness. I felt the other members of the party were somewhat embarrassed. I got their money and, should they not return on my watch, I shall not lose sleep.

Michael is now leaving on Monday as the digging does not begin until Tuesday. I’m not sure what I’m supposed to do with the other vans nearby but we’ll worry about that when the time comes.

I got breakfast and didn’t do a lot with what remained of the morning. I changed my Google password and the silly keychain didn’t update itself so I needed to recover the account. I spent a considerable amount of time clearing the junk from my Outlook mail and archiving the remainder. Something outstanding for years but now achieved.

There was lots of noise from the workers as they continued the decking in front of T2/3. They have been working very hard. I’m to put an overnight customer in M1 which is ready as Z5/6 are not ready.

I have DDs to process and food to prepare. I’d better get on with it before my arrival arrives.

DDs now processed and food in the pot so I’m awaiting the arrival of Dimitris who is staying one night before leaving for Gavdos. Why Dimitris has chosen to stay at Grammeno which is a ten-mile round trip from the port is beyond my comprehension so I shall not be surprised if he doesn’t show and finds local accommodation nearer his point of departure.

The camping is quieter. Sandra and Sonja are preparing for their final departure tomorrow. Michael will also leave which will free up some space on the beachfront. Both customers have been here since October.
