Decaying Gently

I went to bed early as I was feeling a little rough. I managed to get up around six and take the dogs for a reasonable walk around the Promontory to Plakaki and back but then called it a day as I was running out of steam.

I summoned up the energy to get the DDs going then collapsed into my chair with some ginger, honey and lemon tea. My own concoction which kept me going.

Consequently, I’ve not done much else today other than decompose quietly. I managed a couple of trips out into the camping to deliver packing materials to Jarno who has decided to send his motorhome power controller back to the supplier for repair or exchange. I also collected cash from departing customers on their way home via Venice.

I was considering the possibility of taking the dogs out again but enthusiasm seems to have waned since this morning. Hopefully, tomorrow will see me leaping around as ever.

I just had a call from Georgia asking after my health as Manolis had just spoken to her about other things. She’s convinced I have CoVID but I said I have some tests kindly donated by Ursula from her extensive stocks. I think I picked up some germs when I had tea with Kirsti as she was sitting opposite me and became poorly shortly after. She says she’s recovered now after a few days of mouldiness.

Manolis and Yiannis have just collected the olive oil from the workshop as it’s not high enough quality to use at the camping. Georgia will buy other oil for the camping.

I have food ready so am going to eat today!

A reasonable day with no rain despite the forecast. Over 20ºC indeed!
