All Clean!

I woke in the night feeling hot!

Our fisherman was busy at work when we returned to The Promontory. Luis and Obi were the first two on station and not barking. He was using a different lure today but I suspect the fish were as safe as they were yesterday as he’d gone home by the time Sasha, Isabella and I had gone round again.

I went over Panorama with a stop for bread and Petrakis for some items from the DD’s tomorrow. I was back after nine and decided to put a wash on for myself for a change.

There was some concern about the weather as the forecast and actual reality were not quite the same. However, by the time I had everything on the line the sunny intervals were much longer and it was beginning to feel warm in the sun despite a little occasional windines.

Later, Kirsti came to take Isabella so I took Sasha in the other direction. It was very sunny but we all agreed that the wind was quite cold despite the warm sunshine. Jorma was wearing long trousers however he’d changed to shorts later on. I was wearing summer shorts as my winter ones were on the line drying.

The remainder of the afternoon was occupied by taking down and folding up the laundry, making my bed and getting into the shower. So much organisation and cleanliness!

Manolis had received the new fuel sensor for his boat and wanted to fit it. I went up and crimped the connections and then fed the cats who were numerous and on the brink of imminent starvation.

I ordered a hydraulic crimping tool as I have several large cables to make up for the battery pack and I’ve come to the conclusion that crimping is the way to go. The tool can also be used to crimp gas connectors which always leak when Jubilee Clips are used. These always distort, fail or come lose. I plan to crimp everything that requires crimping!

My sundry interruptions included a telephone call so it was a little later once I’d prepared my food. Tonight is potatoes, green beans and broccoli as I bought some hopefully nice broccoli this morning.

Slightly cooler due to more clouds and more wind. Not a very warm combination even though the direction has moved from the north.
