I think Bosch has pinned down the murderer of the black lawyer slain in the Angels lift. It was a difficult one as the culprit used an underground passage to nip out during a public event where he could guarantee hundreds of alibis. Fortunately, Bosch has discovered the secret passage as that was the penultimate episode in the current season. There have been many twists and turns in this season including the assassination of Bosch’s ex-wife. His mother, a prostitute, was murdered when he was a boy.
The evening drew to a close and all of the dogs slept inside until my alarm sounded at 04:55. I didn’t quite ‘spring’ out of bed however it’s a whole lot easier now that the weather is warmer.
The moon was shining brightly but was eventually overcome by clouds which were quickly massing. This has been the theme for several days but they usually turn out sunny and warm after initial cloudiness.
Skinny and the thrower accompanied the girls but not the ball as Isabella couldn’t find it. Not that it mattered as she and Sasha spent a lot of time chasing each other around accompanied by lots of squeaking on Sasha’s part since Isabella was being more bossy than usual. Skinny just got on with his life and kept himself to himself.
I went into Paleochora once I’d put on the 07:15 wash for the German family. It turned into two washes as they had a lot more than imagined so I rode my bike and then put on the second wash. Once that was complete, I could see they wouldn’t be able to hang it all up so offered to take the bed linen and towels which decorated my line.
I spent much of the day busily doing little except for some camping admin and a quick IT support activity for Simon. He was suffering the same authentication problem with his Office 365 as I’ve been with my Embroiderers Guild email account which is also Office 365. I shall have to get to the bottom of this problem.
I am abandoning my UK number as of 18 March. I’ve had that mobile number for many years but the virtual hosting service is unreliable and I get few calls, which can be equally-well routed via Viber or Apple FaceTime, all for free. I don’t see the point in paying £9/month for something which doesn’t work much of the time.
It became so warm under the awning that I put the sun blocker back and turned on the ceiling fan. The temperature was just under 30ºC before and went down to about 27.5ºC after however, it felt a lot cooler as the amount of direct sunlight was significantly reduced by the sun blocker. Something to do with its name I suppose.
I’ve noticed increasing antipathy between Skinny and Sasha. There have been a couple of short-lived episodes recently so nothing serious so far. I suspect both Skinny and Sasha are becoming more assertive and Sasha is going through her growing up phases in the shadow of Isabella who is definitely the dominant of the two.
