Gently Busy

It was before four-thirty when I woke up so I got up with a little help/hindrance from Sasha. It’s difficult to get from your bed with two great paws and a snuffly nose in your way.

The morning was cooler than recently due to the wind so I needed my dog-walking fleece which had been left out on the fence the other day. The moon was participating and it seemed to get light early even though we were out in good time. There were no excitements other than a short exploration of the sky for relaxation purposes and a slight shortening of the route due to technical reasons.

I rode to Paleochora and back without stopping so was back earlier and took a little quiet time for myself before releasing and feeding the dogs. The cats were luckily fed before my bike ride. I drank tea and festered for a while before checking-out the Dutch guy who’d grown very fond of one of Anke’s cats. Seeing she is back now, I couldn’t very well suggest he take her.

There were only two arrivals today and they came one after the other which was quite helpful. Both Swiss and both very pleasant couples with a sense of humour. They are positioned near to each other in the middle of the camping as the beach area is getting full. I want to leave some of it empty as we have accommodation visitors over the weekend who might like to see the sea.

I spent time playing with my BMS connection cable enlisting the help of the guy responsible for the application but to no avail. I suspect more research is required and the functionality the cable provides is available by other means. It was however an interesting exercise and may still have potential.

Other than print off a few pages for Georgia in exchange for loads of cucumbers and tomatoes, the afternoon drifted by with experimentation. There was great industry in the Common Room which looks promising. Hopefully, the bar will open for the weekend followed by the restaurant next month. Ha! Someone might be listening!

Sasha made a poor decision to jump over the fence into the field just as I was serving up their food. Consequently, she was stuck outside not able to bother me as she usually does. She was also the last to be fed.

The sky clouded over and the wind got up as expected however the day was generally warm and mostly sunny.

Warmer than yesterday following a chilly start. The weekend is looking sunnier and warmer!
