Thicker T-Shirt

There were some strong gusts during the night and I’d considered getting up to take down the wind chimes which were annoying me slightly but may have carried further. I took them down when I got up at 04:10.

It was blowy and not overly warm. Had I worn a thinner T-Shirt, it may have been quite chilly. The large dog with the deep bark was not attached to the pickup but appeared to be inside. That said, the dog was outside later so received some other doggy visitors.

Luis didn’t make it to the end of the Promontory but arrived at Azzuro as we were walking back. Maybe he was walking to Azzuro as we did the Promontory. He finds it difficult when it’s warm although today wasn’t.

There were new, Greek vans along the beach track and different cars in the car park. We didn’t encounter any humanoids or find any tents or maggots.

I took the girls for another forty minutes with the ball for plenty of panting. There was no shortage of the latter. We walked to the end of the Promontory so they could run around but Isabella decided she’d had enough so hung onto the balls. I wasn’t up for arguing with her although she had a change of heart as we crossed the beach and the field on the way back. Maya runs with Isabella and Sasha hopes I will throw the other ball for her. Mostly, it works out. Until Isabella claims all of the balls.

It was still windy although the forecast had mentioned something about it calming. I decided to wait as there were some strong gusts occasionally and the sea was rough so uninviting. However, the sales person offered them a 25% discount if they stayed!

I played with my weather website and installed some updates as well as discovered some more about how it works. Delving into the world of php coding.

I emptied the liquid part of the loo and gave it a bit of a freshen-up. The wind will blow dust over it during the night so it will be just as dirty tomorrow but still less full.

They chose to pitch there and I cannot be responsible for poo during the night. I usually go around and remove it in the evening as the punters are often in bed until late. You’d think they’re on holiday or something.

Marisa says there is nothing certain for Maria’s timetable so far although she will be working in Chania for this academic year. Doubtless, I will discover in the fullness of time.

Warmer than yesterday despite the mostly strong, northerly wind. The temperature was in the late twenties for much of the night. The temperature should remain the same for the next few days.
