ShirtOff

Lots of Fassolakia on the menu last night with some intellectual videos on YouTube, then bed.

It was warm in the night but cooled down in the early hours so I didn’t really need the fan as I found myself actually under a sheet for a change.

We managed to leave the starting blocks in reasonable order to find fewer vehicles on the beach track and a couple in the car park. Luis managed to make it for the first biscuit stop as well as over the rocks. He went with me towards Azzuro then petered out. However, he appeared for biscuits back on Grammeno Beach and again high on the rocks. I think that may have done for him as I think the next time was when we came out with the girls.

We brought the thrower but lost the ball in the first few minutes as Isabella was so intent on being everywhere at once. She decided to take the ball in my had at which point I left the thrower and that was it for the remainder of the walk. So there! She left the ball in the bushes but easily found the one she lost at the start! Luis came with us and did a good job at keeping up.

After a pause, I went to the office to look at the printer which Maria informed me had a paper jam. I didn’t find a jam even though I looked inside the underneath and checked most of the paper path. I felt that half-an-hour was enough time to waste so set it up to print from the manual feed. That’s called a workaround.

The day was getting warmer and already 32ºC so I wanted to get going so rode into Paleochora for no particular reason even though I needed lemons. On the way back, I swam at Alonáki which was quite busy. I lazed in the sun for a little while then went back to shower and feed the animals.

I had enough lemon for tea so concentrated on make a mug before sitting down.

The day has been inactive but quite busy as there was Stephen’s scanner to set up. The software is not compatible with W10 so quite a lot of messing around is required to get it properly installed. I spent a long time messing with Outlook signature files but finally decided to create a new one as I was losing the will to live. Microsoft have changed the location for signature files making life just a little more complicated.

What else did I do. Not a lot really but it was warm and sunny so I may have fallen asleep at some point.

Warmer than yesterday and I didn’t even wear a shirt on the Early Walk. Tomorrow might be a little warmer but the next few days should continue the trend of hot and sunny.
