Could Have Been Worse

A mixture of comestibles including potatoes, vlita and rice/spinach. More than I could manage in one sitting. Accompanied by Lewis followed by Perry Mason and then bed.

The door was open, the night around 24ºC with some gentle distant thunder. The elephants were dancing on the decking as it’s never a good idea to leave the sisters out together at night if they get bored. I looked at the weather before getting up. The rumbles were still distant as were the flashes. No significant rain forecast so off we went.

Skinny was with me all the way as it wasn’t his type of weather although he was more daring on the way back from Azzuro probably so he could be back first. I dropped Luis, Obi and Skinny and extracted Oskar. It was only about six and raining slightly. After feeding Moggy we set off for the remainder of the standard walk and the second, all rolled into one. We managed just 8km.

I picked up the poo then headed for the bakery as it looked like rain. It was kind enough to hold off until just after I got back. Very considerate. I prepared the DDs before feeding the dogs as it was raining so they were content to stay inside with me.

The sun eventually came out so the day warmed up and the DDs cooked. Marisa alerted me to the arrival of two packages so I went to the office to pet Kira and have a chinwag with a very bored receptionist who’d rather be elsewhere. We were chewing the fat when MARIA came back on the school bus as her car is in need of a mechanic as we discovered later.

I returned to the dogs who I think were mostly quiet then got on processing the DDs before putting on their rice and then Fika with the neighbours. This time, I was well prepared so the dogs got their food round about the normal time.

All-in-all, the weather was much better than expected with occasional showers accompanied by some quite persistent thunder at times. This is likely to continue until tomorrow at least.

Cooler than yesterday but not cold. Sunny intervals producing 5,5kWh despite everything.
Little actual rainfall, mostly showers. The discrepancy is due to the way the different systems calculate the total and the upload frequency. PWS adds it up and Weather34 takes the weather station’s daily total rounding up the fraction
