Two Arrivals!

I watched the science professor telling me about high-tech trainers and then some YouTube. I ate my cauliflower with some potatoes, leeks and carrots. Slightly overcooked as it was left in the pot too long once cooked.

The wind changed to the east during the night but wasn’t blowing that strongly first thing. Our walk was fairly uneventful although the big, fluffy dogs were outside the Slovenian van as I came out with the girls.

We took the GITD ball with glowed convincingly although I feared we’d lost it to the sea early on. The wind got a little stronger but we stayed out quite a long time playing ball.

Just one loaf from Anatoli today and then back to the camping. The return journey was much easier as the wind was behind me so no effort. I dropped bread to Lucia and balls to Betty then went back to feed the dogs and get a cup of tea into the bargain. It was sunny most of the morning so it was enjoyable loafing for a while.

Joyce, who came with her friend and dog, has returned. She will stay for a month and is back where she was for her last visit. She says she feels at home at Grammeno.

I spent time putting up an outside light fed from the light circuit of the ceiling fan. For the first time, there is mains lighting on the decking. The remainder of the time was spent playing with an electrical box I picked up during my last visit to UK! A bargain considering the price. I notice the cable in only 1.5mm2 which is poor considering the sockets are rated at 4kW! I plan to convert it to

I was called away to put on a wash for the Swiss couple who managed to get everything into the machine and then hang it up around the playground.

The next arrival was as I was about to give the dogs their food so I asked the people to wait as I was nearly done. They are the Slovenian couple with the large dogs who’ve been on the island for several weeks. They spoke to Kevin yesterday. They are in Bay 3 next to the French.

The dogs were being noisy during my absence but are now sleeping off their food inside. The wind is blowing from the east so I can hear the sea on the Alonáki side.

A little cooler than yesterday with plenty of wind from the northeast. Tomorrow is forecast to be cooler with the possibility for some rain early. Sunday is going to be windy mostly from the north.
