Friday – Cleaning!

Fred Thursday and the Young Morse investigated multiple murders including one in a department store. Naturally, they got their man but several women died at his hands. All because his wife rejected him. It was a good story with references to Fred’s wartime experiences in Italy and a former love. I was eating cauliflower, potatoes and carrots which were particularly tasty.

The sky was clear and the moon was bright. There was one van and a car in the beach car park. The inmates of the van had stupidly left their ‘kitchen’ scattered around their vehicle so may have had less to wash up and fewer items too. The dogs generously helped out.

We made it to Azzuro and back in almost continuous moonlight as there were few clouds to get in the way. Obi was lagging behind but eventually caught us up however Oskar and Skinny remained outside the gate so only Obi and Luis were in the van at changeover time.

The five of us set forth once more with balls and thrower back to Azzuro and once more around Piccadilly Circus, driver follow that bus! Or it may have been The Promontory although they’re dissimilar.

I returned some washing to the Wright household as it was in overnight. They’d hung it up by the time I returned with bread for Lucia.

I had DDs to produce so didn’t hang around but returned to feed the dogs and get on. I’d already cooked the chickpeas which will form part of my salad later.

The sun was warm so I sat and enjoyed it whilst drinking my tea. The Internet connection has been a little variable and disappeared for a couple of hours during the day. I wandered around checking the system was functioning bumping into sundry inmates on the way. The Internet problem was outside the camping.

Later I processed the DDs, printed a documents for the Wrights and abortively helped catch one of the males which requires some delicate surgery. He knows what we have planned for him so is evading capture. There’s a juicy bone in one of the cat traps.

Joyce was called out in the night to tend to a dog which had been in an accident with a car and lost an eyeball. She popped it back in so, hopefully, it will self-repair.

After a full-on day yesterday, today was a lot calmer.

As predicted, cooler than yesterday but with no wind and plenty of sunshine. It’s likely to be unsettled over the weekend, particularly Saturday night and NYE. 1 January’s not looking that special at present.
