Grantchester was an interesting exposé on several levels. Some airmen were apprehended racing their car around a gravel pit or similar. The local police arrived and carted the malfeasants off to the nick where it was eventually discovered one of them was not out cold drunk but dead. The detectives gradually uncovered the story after a lot of digging.

Judge John Deed was behaving as badly as ever pushing the boundaries of the law between dealing with a recently released offender trying to get his own back for being banged up for so long even though he felt he was innocent. The main case was a boxer who beat his best friend to a pulp during a fit of anger. What remained of the evening was on YouTube.

Up earlier to make use of the earlier sunrise we were trotting up The Promontory by five-thirty and then on to Azzuro with one wet foot. There was an area of very soggy sand where the river joins the sea which was not readily apparent in the dark. The consequence was a left boot full of water.

Skinny joined the ladies as we went to Azzuro again. Isabella decided we didn’t need to run about after the balls too much so, following a bout of initial enthusiasm, she carried the balls most of the time. We were back by eight so I was able to ride to Anatoli via Panorama.

I dropped bread to Lucia and we spent a little time installing a password manager with the help of Betty who was, as you’d expect, utterly indispensable. Her knowledge of IT is boundless.

I came back to feed the dogs then make tea. I wasn’t feeling too lively so it wasn’t long before I fell asleep in the sun. Good that I did as it clouded over later and the wind changed direction making things chilly.

There was a support enquiry from EG which required browsing email send logs which was guaranteed to send me into a Korma without delay. Later, for more excitement, I changed over the wheelie bins as the one at the entrance was empty and the active one not too full. Just how I like it!

I collected a meter from the motorhome bays which I used to experiment with moving the LEDs to the outside case so that I can see if the WiFi is connected and there’s power to the device. I learned some useful things so will be able to make a better job next time.

Other than the power going off around nine, there were few other excitements. I saw a pole lying by another the other day so guessed there would be a pole change before long.

Following a mild and clear start, the sky clouded over after some initial long sunny intervals. The day cooled down early afternoon so I shoved my discarded clothes back on. There is a threat of thunderstorms Tuesday night. The beginning of next week is looking cooler and quite damp.
