For my viewing pleasure there was The Tomorrow People which continued with more hammy acting and dodgy effects, even for the 1970s! It makes me wonder how this became cult viewing. I see that there have been remakes in the 90s and 2013. Admittedly, Dr Who, which still survives to this day, was pretty shaky at the outset.

Auntie Hetty took us on another detective adventure to the seaside in search of a young man afflicted with schizophrenia and off his meds. The mother engages Hetty to find the lad who has gone wandering to a seaside town of his youth. He is eventually found but too late to be helped. YouTube took over and I watched some tiny house construction videos.

I was awake so got up so we were walking past the parked caravan and car before five-thirty. The sky was littered with clouds so the enfeebled moon struggled to put in an appearance as did Venus. I managed to visit Azzuro with dry feet which required crossing the river higher up whilst the sea concentrated on pushing itself across the sand bar back into the river. The river’s flow is merely a trickle now.

The girls and skinny accompanied by Oskar went up the Promontory and met Betty and Lucia on the way back. Betty seems better at coping with the lively girls although Isabella stole her ball. Betty has managed to find the missing ball thrower and I extracted her ball from Isabella and returned it to her.

A ride to Paleochora for bread and groceries to make the DDs. It was very quiet in Petrakis until a group of school kids arrived just as I was leaving. The ride back was against a westerly wind and without additional support.

I dropped all of the bread to Lucia to cut and dispense. I then put on a wash for the Dutch couple. Counting the Germans masquerading as Swiss as from Switzerland, I have a similar situation to last year then the Finns outnumbered all other countries. This year it’s the Dutch who have the majority share. Mickey produced some bedding to wash as soon as the first was completed. I was asleep when the first wash was ready.

Other than cleaning my loo and changing the side of the ventilation fan to accommodate its revised orientation, it was just the DDs to keep me busy. Later, I treated the dogs for fleas as Sasha and Obi are driving me mad with their scratching and Luis seems to be licking his paws excessively. A rather lazy and sunny day.

Following a cloudy but extremely mild start, the day was calm, warm and sunny. I sat and enjoyed the sunshine between answering a couple of emails. Tomorrow’s forecast predicts thunderstorms from the middle of the day onwards. The day should start clear and even sunny for a while.
