I accidentally watched Wallander which I felt was quite gripping. All to do with a gang trying to totally disrupt banks to cause financial mayhem. It’s the second of this series which was created by the BBC with Kenneth Branagh as Wallander. It’s in English with English actors so may lack the authenticity which some might miss.

My other viewing choice was of a YouTube video of the installation of a modern overshot water mill in The Lake District. The purpose of the mill is to generate electricity to feed to The Grid. I think there may have been a gap between what was hoped for and what was actually feasible although the execution was good.I finished up the first and second episodes which were quite detailed hence long. Unfortunately, whatever followed after sent me to sleep.

There was a heavy rain shower around 04:35 so I took pains to carefully examine the various prognoses before setting out with the tribe. To save any anguish due to suspense, we didn’t get wet. We ended up chasing some hapless creature on the first walk and chatting with Nina and her bears at the end of the second.

I went over Panorama for bread and a visit to Petrakis where I ordered dog and cat food as well as more tins for Bona. Incidentally, the price of 20kg Friskies cat food is now something like 70€! Strangely, I didn’t buy that brand.

I helped Lucia with the continuing saga of her card fraud by sorting out her online account login with a sensible password. There is more to be done but we have around a month to complete her journey to password satisfaction.

I made DDs after feeding the dogs. Sat in the sun drinking tea and dealing with more EG email woes. There was a wash to put on for Nina who will take her bears and husband to visit other parts of the island before returning to Slovenia. They’ve been here in the camping for over two months and in the beach car park long before.

There was a package for Nina and a ferry confirmation email to print for Lucia as well as other interruptions which encouraged me to fall asleep.

I finally process the DDs and fed all of the animals so now they’re snoring and my broccoli, carrots and potatoes should be ready for me to eat.

Slightly warmer than yesterday with a couple of showers, one heavy. Mostly sunny with some cloudy intermissions. Similar tomorrow but cooler.
