Tuesday

The evening was spent on iPlayer watching Hidden Assets which shows potential. Following that was This Is Going To Hurt, a hospital comedy set in a maternity ward with a young doctor. It also shows potential. Lastly, a load of shorts on YouTube and then bed.

I went for a wander around three and woke again at 04:20, just before the alarm so was nearly dressed when it went off. We were soon out to another moonlit morning but I’d forgotten the doggy biscuits! I went out with the girls later but Isabella had left the two balls outside, somewhere in the field so today we just walked.

I rode to the bakery and Petrakis via Panorama and then back to the camping to deliver bread and eggs to Lucia who was almost ready to go, barring breakfast. I fed the dogs and finished off the DDs before washing up and making tea. I was ready for a sit down and there was some sunshine amongst the clouds.

A text called me to say goodbye to Lucia, Betty and Bear. I opened the reception barrier and they were soon on their way after a six month’s stay. I received another text later to confirm they’d arrived at the port ready for an early departure tomorrow morning.

I had one more departee later in the afternoon. The inmates of Ξ1 left but reckon to return a couple more times before the busy season. There was a phone call from a Greek guy who is coming to Crete in August and will rent a motorhome. He was enquiring about staying one night on the camping.

The contractors were trimming the hedges and trees so the sound of trimmers permeated the air and clippings littered the ground. They have at least one more day, I should imagine.

Zoe and Georgia left for Chania and Bona came in for some cleaning which included Ξ5 for Jamie’s mummy tomorrow.

I spent a lot of time on the Internet doing some research on flea treatments now that the season is fast upon us. I treated Luis as he’s been scratching lately. The others had some topical a few days ago.

It was soon time to complete the DDs and to feed the dogs. It wasn’t very inviting outside as it had clouded over and become colder with an easterly wind.

I keep forgetting it’s not Monday.

The day started fine but a little cloudy with a northerly breeze. There was sunshine later before more cloud.
