Tired

I watched the first episode of Vera who was dealing with a serial murderer so it was all quite complicated. I fell asleep watching a YouTube video so went to bed.

Maya and Isabella chose to be outside and Sasha joined them later so it was fairly quiet until Skinny decided he’d like to go outside as well. We got up early anyway as there was a lot of fidgeting for some reason. Probably because it was quite warm.

A French motorhome and a tent were on the beach track and the car which has been there overnight for days was there too. Another car was parked on the corner but I suspect it was just a couple expecting a quiet spot to discover themselves surrounded by dogs. They left precipitously.

Skinny and Oskar joined the second walk where we met up with Nina and the bears. She seemed to be heading back so I threw the ball around quite a bit and she headed back to the camping and we did the same soon after. The ball play was quite intense so all three girls adjourned to the sea to cool off. We picked up the glass recycling crate and headed home.

I was expecting Jessica and her son to arrive so I sent a message suggesting they help themselves if they arrived whilst I was out.

I went to Paleochora directly as I thought I’d be doing enough wandering around the camping later on as there were three arrivals and one departure that I knew of. I stopped at Anatoli and Petrakis where I bought everything to make the DDs tomorrow morning.

I came back and unloaded most of it then fed the dogs before going to welcome Jessica and connect them up to the electricity. They were in need of a rest especially as someone had died on the Piraeus ferry which was quite inconsiderate of them. It would appear that death was from natural causes although the decedent wasn’t particularly elderly. Patrick, her husband will arrive on 9 April and will stay in Ξ1 as it’s a little crowded in their motorhome with three.

The young family in M7 were packing up having extended their three-night stay to five. They had a look at T4 as they’re considering coming back for a month or so during the winter. They don’t like German winters for some reason.

Bona and Noël came to the camping. I provided them with some refreshment and left them to it.

A woman had been on the beach and lost the keys to her rental car so came to ask if anyone had picked them up. I went with her to see if together we might be luckier. She was about to call the rental company to get a spare when I found the keys lying on the ground. She was suitably relieved.

I returned to the dogs to drink tea and organise myself to today’s arrivals. We have three booked but I took only one of the bookings.

The Spanish have paid their final, final bill and say they will definitely leave tomorrow after last week’s false start. They came for a couple of nights back in December.

I met Georgia with Martha going on a little wander along the camping. Martha is still doing well considering how ill she was but becoming frailer. Georgia is still poorly and going to see another physician. She’s still not feeling all that great and is not moving easily.

I’m still waiting for one family to arrive as well as a French family with a tent who are coming from Kastelli. Another couple arrived with their own tent so I’ve put them down by the beach next to Chesmo who has rather spread himself and his gear.

This day is proving to be quite long although nothing much happened in the middle.
