I was in the shower this morning when Janne walked past with Adonis asking if they might go into my compound. I suggested that, to avoid a barkathon, they perhaps waited until I was out of the shower. As it turned out, there was only some initial barking and the puppies seemed fairly at ease with Janne, Adonis and myself, working in their sub compound. I sloped off to the supermarket leaving Janne and Adonis playing nicely.
There are some pictures to show the strengthening measures designed to support the fence during high winds. It was quite blowy today so Adonis was struggling to weld as the gas from the welder was being blown by the wind. Finally, he ran out of gas so will return tonight or tomorrow to do the last bits. It was getting hot anyway. Adonis will also pick up some more cable ties so I can finish off with the screen material as well as some plumbing bits for the second tap installation.
Still no new awning although a package arrived from China containing two ultra thin glass protectors to replace the plastic ones in my present phone and iPad cases. A couple of quid for new glasses seemed a better deal than replacing both cases. The present protectors are so scratched due to use, that it’s virtually impossible to make out what’s on the screen in some circumstances.
Now sitting on my garden furniture in the shade of the storeroom with Brown Dogs laying under the benches. Customer’s Shepherd is complaining of being left too long on her own. Family are probably off noshing. Not easy for me as some of mine would like to join in the song.
Still quite windy although not so dusty as earlier.
News that an adjoining plot of land alongside the camping might have been sold for the construction of some more villas. I’ll try to find out which plot has been sold. I hope someone is not considering obscuring my recently acquired view of the sea with a few silly villas. Someone’s making a packet I imagine.
