I Cleaned!

My decadent lifestyle kept me watching the Box until gone ten such was the excitement of the content. I forget the title but it looks promising. Yet another police, detective series to the collection. I hope to continue with it later. There are good actors and the plot looks interesting. Naturally, the odd murder or two.

Luis remained quiet all night and Fido didn’t need to exit. The LED lights flickered and flashed around the awning area breaking up the darkness without. It was soon time to arise to meet the new day.

Contrary to expectations, it was very busy in the car park with two campers and a number of cars. A tent or tents pitched on the Small Beach which we avoided on both walks. Otherwise, our walks were uneventful but enjoyable with no surprises or disappearences.

I trained my brain after a meditation which transformed itself into a sleep then went off up the mountain stopping in Paleochora only for bread. Another wholemeal sourdough bread to the consternation of the nice serving lady.

I went straight back to the camping stopping at the office to relieve Maria so that she could relieve herself. She went to the bar amongst other things returning and disappearing in the way she does. My fifteen-minute wait was more like sixty but I amused myself with the Grammeno ChromeBook and got on entering a few invoices. Interestingly, Tonya, who left having been conveniently fired by Georgia, was texting me as I sat entering supplier invoices into the spreadsheet I created for her. She then went off to the beach.

I went to feed the dogs and then get some tea for myself before settling down for a lazy day of doing not a lot. This I accomplished as well as sorting out the invoices, sweeping, vacuuming and mopping the inside of the van and vacuuming the decking rug. I don’t know what overcame me other than the squalor threshold may have been breached, requiring remedial action. However, the level of cleaning was very superficial and I’m putting together plans as to how I shall manage the inside of the van during the winter.

I went for food and received a huge vat of Αγκινάρες or artichokes, at least three portions. The dish consists of peas, potatoes and artichokes of which there were many. Petra started off ladling it into my tiffin container then simply emptied the content of the storage pan into my container. I’m pretty/very full! I collected one supplier invoice whilst at the kitchen and some more were delivered to the office whilst I was there this morning. I’m always a little concerned if invoices are handed to Maria as I’m unsure as to if/when I’m likely to see them again. If ever.

Janne phoned a little while ago to say that he and Erica are unwell so will not fly tomorrow. They have rescheduled their flight for Thursday. Nothing serious just some nasty bug going around in Erica’s school which laid low so many staff they had to close the school! We had a short conversation about cars as Janne is looking at an alternative to renting one seeing as how expensive they’ve become.

The early morning was quite warm until the wind got up but that didn’t last. The remainder of the day was warm and sunny with a little more wind before sunset. It’s a great evening for mosquitoes so I, together with most of the dogs, have moved inside. I have lit a joss stick and have a fan going. Both unattractive to mozzies.
