Wrong Day

The first night after the hour change Sasha stayed in but Isabella and Obi remained outside. It was peaceful except that I woke up at 04:00 and got up at 04:30 as the dogs are not up for hour-change it would seem.

I’d received a call from Denga as I hadn’t emailed her for directions to their home. She gave the directions to me over the phone but I said I’d call from the bridge for the final part of the directions. I was sure she signed off by saying ”see you tomorrow’ so I had it in my mind that it was Monday. I charged my bike batteries ready for the journey as they were getting low.

I walked the dogs and then the two females plus Oskar who’d not bothered to return at the end of the first walk. Once back, I made the DDs so that I could leave the Doggy Rice on a timer in the cooker to save time later. I got myself ready and set off at noon for the one-thirty meal. It took around forty-five minutes to ride to the bridge so I explored around as I was too early. I was surprised when I didn’t get a reply and then their car drew up outside their house. It was then that it dawned on me I was one day early. At least I know how long it takes to get to their house. I had a tour of the house and grounds plus a drink then left the couple to continue with their transformation from summer to winter.

I decided to return via Spaniakos where there were no problems. I stopped at Petrakis for some groceries. The dogs were pleased to see me and I soon got on processing the DDs. We’re all inside now but with the fan on to disperse the mosquitoes as it makes it difficult for them to settle.

Tomorrow will be an action-replay of today.

A little wind but generally fine and sunny.
