One Departure

I wanted to get going as the wind forecast suggested it might get very windy. There was some wind earlier but the sky was clear, the moon was shining and it wasn’t horribly cold.

We walked up the road as there has been a recent trend for dogs to disappear into an adjacent field and eat or roll in something disagreeable. Today, I kept track of the dogs and prevented them from wandering off into fields or gardens.

I went into Paleochora and stopped at Petrakis then came back to take the girls for their second walk as I felt it was easier to walk dogs in the wind rather than cycle in the wind.

The Czech family were leaving so I wanted to sort out their bill and the latest arrival, Chris, needed to use the washing machine. I managed all of this and to get the DDs in the pot and cooking within a reasonable time.

I sat outside for a while but it became cloudy later so we ended up inside but with the door open. I was fiddling with my camping spreadsheet as I’m moving over to a more flexible model with more room to record transactions to avoid grouping them together and putting little notes to explain what the sums relate to. I also needed to create an invoice for the Czechs.

The Czechs are making a TV program and I’m hoping they will give me a link to the finished product.

It was cooler than yesterday with plenty of sunshine earlier but turning colder and cloudier later
