Someone tried to call me just before ten at night. No chance! Lewis and sidekick kept me viewing through the evening.

The moon was filtered once more but the going was good all the way to Azzuro and back and twice round the Promontory as usual. A woman in a large Mercedes 4×4 motorhome stepped out of her boudoir to speak to the dogs just before five. She’d noticed them previously but appeared in person today. We talked for a few moments then left for Azzuro. On our return, she was waiting to hand me a bag of dog food purchased during a trip to Turkey where, apparently, there are many deserving stray dogs. The dogs will be suitably pleased as it’s a premium brand which I will dish out as treats.

The girls plus Skinny went onto the Promontory with the ball and thrower for a good while. I then rode into Paleochora to get two loaves of bread for my delivery round. Not really a very big round as the vans are next to each other.

The Austrian/German couple have paid for a month so my round will continue for at least that long. Lucy put on a wash and I dropped it back to her later.

Meanwhile, I was getting on with the dreaded website I’m moving from Melbourne to my Greek hosting. It’s quite a complex business as both sites need to function independently but simultaneously with different addresses.

There was one arrival, a German woman with a dog. She lives with her two dogs in Chania but has come for the weekend, potentially. A nice lady with a well-known German name; Messerschmidt.

There was a parcel for Mickey and Bona came to clean, drink Hell and to chew the fat!

I had a call from a chap who wants to rent a small cabin for fifteen weekends during the winter. He’s coming tomorrow so that we can discuss the arrangement in more detail.

A nice Greek woman called to say she and her young family will come tomorrow for a night in a small cabin.

The day was sunny and warm.
