The wind is from the south today

Sounds a bit like something from Allo Allo – a secret message to the Underground in 1944! But the wind is from the south today so the temperature risks getting into the early 20’s if we are not careful.
Earlier, I sent a tenancy agreement to Denise Simpson, Charlie’s mother, as Charlie and the children are going back to Tyndalls this weekend, and they want to have something to give to the Housing so that I can have some money.

Dave and I have been shopping too. Dave waits patiently outside the store often attracting a number of admirers.

There was a huge problem at the supermarket this morning as there were no dried figs! I had to compensate with extra dates, but at 88¢ per pack, I can afford to splash out. Six huge oranges are €1.32 and 540gms premium feta €5.23 (more than I really like to pay for feta) 2kg tomatoes €2.48 and garlic at 18¢. According to the till roll I seem to have bought oranges twice, but I suspect the second oranges were actually apples but at €1.45 for 6 huge apples, who cares!

I watched the 2nd part of the Great Train Robbery last night as well as Still Open All Hours, the celebration. Did you see them?
So there you have it.

As for the remainder of the day, I should be hearing how Terry got on with the doctor and his blood pressure tests, and take a look at his laptop. I know how to live!!

At least the sun is shining and it’s warm and dry.
