Igoumenitsa

I had more than one glass of wine and eventually fell asleep on the seat at the back of the van. The puppies seemed to be ok and Dave seemed to be ok, so I left them all to it and went to bed.

I woke at 05:30 to the sound of them eating from the big bowl of food I left out as I could not be bothered to put it separately.

We’ve explored the car deck this morning and pooed and weed so no problem there. The toilets for passengers are nice, as is the shower, which I shall use later. We are at Igoumenitsa so the exercise area for dogs is being filled up with bloody lorries. Have they no respect?

I don’t plan to do much today except tidy up the wreckage.

Fortunately, we are right on deck so there is plenty of air. Two of the boys are less than reliable when it comes to widdling so I have to take them out and keep an eye on them. I’ll keep them in later and let out the reliable ones who always can be trusted – the girl and the smallest boy. They have names now as I had to fill in all their Pet Passport details. Georgia the vet chose the names as she had to produce the famous ownership documents. We have Mili, Max, Kipper and Lucky as official names at the moment, but I’ve yet to decide on names for them.

Someone has parked a huge lorry on my verandah, blocking my view of the sea! Up until now, we are the only campers on the deck but that may change. They certainly know how to pack them in.

Dave has emerged from his bed by the driver’s seat and has probably come here to get away from the two boys who have most likely taken over his bed. I may just give up the unequal struggle and go and join Boris in his boudoir, leaving them all to get on with it.

Earthquake

As you can see from the subject, there was quite a strong earthquake last night, just south of Athens. It was under the sea 90 km to the south. I don’t know more than that as I only found out through the earthquake notification service.
Grey and cloudy today but warm and dry. My weather girl is suggesting an umbrella might be a good idea later.
I’m not planning much for today and have already walked the dogs and had my first cup of coffee. I think I might do a little reading and tidy up a bit: possibly a little snooze later on.
I hope business is going well at Costa and the farmers’ market is busy too.
The Internet is a bit unreliable at the moment, so don’t be surprised if you don’t get an email for a couple of days.

I think I can smell your bacon cooking! It is Saturday isn’t it?
