Shark attack II

Not so many sharks this evening as I still have a couple of legs left.

More punters on the beach this evening so the dogs got plenty of attention. An English-speaking Greek with his English-speaking wife were asking all about them as they walk back with us. Apparently, their dog hates the water and was very unhappy the entire length of a recent camping trip.
There were a couple of young stray dogs in the camping earlier which were nearby caused quite a stir. Lots of barking and posturing but then they went off elsewhere, fortunately. They go around together as I’ve met up with them on the way back from the supermarket. They bark and run after you until you stop and turn on them at which point they run away. I stood by them the other day and, once they got all the barking out of the way, they settled down quietly and did what dogs are supposed to do.
Greece plods on politically and economically. This proposed bailout will not have any real effect other than to add more debt on top of the present, equally unsustainable debt. But then, in the world of politics, it’s just a matter of getting the right result whether it’s the right thing to do or not. Still, what do I know…
