The tables and chairs from the restaurant are being packed away in the storeroom and I should imagine the bar will close this weekend if not before. It is getting a bit like the end of term as staff are also coming to the end of their time here.
There are still some punters on the camping in motorhomes and tents as well as the chalets and Small Cabins. Anne, a friend of Tony and Ursula, arrived at Souda Airport today and is staying in one of the Small Cabins during her six nights here.
Heidi spent a while with Ursula this morning before they left to pick up Anne. We went for lunch at the Houmas restaurant when they arrived back from the airport around 3pm. A nice lunch followed by a little rest in the sun afterwards. The awning tent is an ideal location for a quiet nap out of the wind in the warm.
It has been sunny and warm today although it is getting windier as the evening progresses. I have just put the Small Dogs to bed but it has been dark for over an hour. They were getting a little lively and noisy so I decided it was time they went to bed.
I didn’t take Dave to the vet in Chania today as I thought it better to wait until next week and take him when Anne goes back to the airport. He seems fine anyway although I heard him coughing a bit earlier.
