I fell asleep in front of the box as my day had been fairly active not allowing for any snoozing. I went to bed and was soon asleep to be woken by another, probably slightly louder, YouTube video much later on. OOps! But then Sasha wanted a wee so it wasn’t for nothing. I woke later feeling quite warm but then it was soon time to get up anyway.

Our walks were without huge excitement other than Skinny becoming a SMD (SmellyFishDog). He elected to put off the de-smelling phase by coming on the second walk but, like The Mounties, I got my man in the end. He sat patiently as I wiped off the majority of the fishyness before allowing him to join the other boys inside.

I went out on my bike stopping for a loaf. There were no plastic boxes scattered on the roads today. The ride back was pleasant and going well until I had to join the main carriageway due to a car parked right in the middle of the cycleway. Some people!

I had a support customer arriving between 10-11 so fed the dogs, made tea and checked my mail. I wandered up to the office and then played with the air con in the mini market to see how quickly it heated the room. Later, once my client arrived, I did the same in the reception.

The offending laptop had driver problems with the WiFi adaptor so was unable to reach the Internet. Just a matter of deleting the device and its driver and reinstalling using another driver kindly supplied in Windows by Microsoft. I did some other updates at the same time so that he felt he was getting his money’s worth. The laptop, which I saw last summer, is by no means new so is no rocket ship to say the least. We chatted about history and I discovered he was born in Tokyo in 1942 about the time of the Pearl Attack.

I went back and put on some fakes and stuff to cook gradually for later. Jorma and Kirsti returned from shopping and I dragged out the compressor so that Jorma could clean the runners of his underbelly lockers. They are substantial considering the amount of stuff he puts in them.

I felt I should empty my poo house which was done six weeks ago, which isn’t too bad considering how cold it’s been and the likelihood of it continuing to compost. I’d still like to get some worms but I seem to have difficulty finding someone to sell them to me in Greece. I don’t think worms from the USA are really the answer.

Jarno came back to the camping, moved his van from the car park and set himself up next to the restaurant kitchen seeing as the latest arrivals had taken ‘his’ space. He’s in a good spot there as it’s sheltered from the north wind.

We discussed his visit to Cairo and various antiquities also the delivery of his new power control device. He plans to remain in the camping for a while so I understand.

I had some other IT support to deal with later then I fed the dogs.

Customers by nationality: Finland – 6, Germany – 6, unless you count Frank as Romanian. Only 50% of the customers are Finnish! We’re not actually overflowing at present. This weekend we have six families coming which should liven things up a little. Bona has some accommodation to prepare and it needs to be fine weather or things might get difficult. The forecast is 18ºC with no rain. At the moment…

Cooler than yesterday although a fine afternoon after a very cloudy morning.
