Hardly a breath of wind as I poked my head out of the awning, there was a little more as we walked over the rocks so I was pleased to be wearing my coat even though it was open. It appeared lighter than the day before as the sky was more reflective.

The BB has reappeared after a couple of nights away in Chania spending time with friends. Luc says it seems very noisy over there compared to Grammeno. The punters who come to the camping from Chania seem to agree.

Even Luis managed to arrive at Plakaki in time for biscuits. I managed to stop Isabella from visiting the neighbouring garden but not Sasha who came back crunching something. I don’t know where they get these bones from and probably better that I don’t.

Skinny joined the girls for the second walk. Two days in a row now. He and Sasha came for the petting part of my FST programme. There was little breeze so I was on the rocks where the view is better and the ground is firmer.

I went over Panorama and round Paleochora on my usual route with no stops. I was out a little later but back just after nine anyway. I’d left my coat behind so was hoping there would be no rain from the grey sky above. It became very still at one point.

I received an email from the person coordinating the group who are visiting over the weekend. There will be only three families as one cannot make it and they will stay for one and not two nights. Everything is prepared anyway.

I spent more time playing with computers. With Windows 11 and Caroline’s printer at LBS. We fixed the problem without difficulty but I need to spend time with her machine as there are updates to go on.

There were no deliveries today and hardly any interruptions. Kirsti came to collect Isabella for a walk so I came out with Sasha. I was chatting with Luc when they met me. It was sunny but I didn’t find it very warm when the wind blew.

The afternoon was much sunnier than the morning so I was able to discard some layers. The dogs spent the afternoon outside in the sun unsurprisingly.

Cooler than yesterday with a very calm start to the day but not quite warm enough to be without a coat. There is wind expected on Sunday which is when the people arrive for their stay. Sunrise is just after seven and sunset is noticeably later. Less than a month to the Spring Equinox and then a quick time reset – AGAIN!
