Uninspiring

A very quick check of the weather and out we went. There was no wind and the moon was shining which was useful as my torch was getting low. I only needed to use it in locations with shadows and over the rocks.

We arrived at Plakaki without any dog sneaking off into a garden although Sasha disappeared a little later. Luis didn’t quite make it as far as the rocks but got 99% of the way there. It soon got light as there were not too many clouds to the east.

Skinny decided to be with the other boys and leave the girls to walk alone. Isabella found the missing ball but the thrower was resting so I needed to throw it manually. It’s mucky and slobbery so it wasn’t much fun.

I rode into Paleochora with a stop at Petrakis for potatoes, cauliflower and tomatoes. The meal tonight is fakes, cauliflower and broccoli. So much scope for wind tomorrow! My trip back was easy as the wind was behind me.

It was still quite early so I spent some time relaxing my brain before releasing and feeding the dogs. I forgot to buy ginger root which was annoying.

The clouds occasionally turned to sun which warmed things up. I took down the sun blocker as it was not needed today. I wandered the site a couple of times during the course of the day but there were not too many people about.

The afternoon trickled by. I put on some Fakes and chopped up potatoes to go with it. The cauliflower was still in my shopping bage. The leaves will go into the DD’s tomorrow.

A cloudy start to the day with occasional sunny intervals which helped to warm things up a little. Otherwise, quite grey and uninspiring. There is the possibility of rain and more unsettled weather tomorrow.
