Some Arrivals

Isabella was out all night and Sasha needed a wee at some point so we both got up. She came back in bringing Isabella with her. It was cooler and they fidgeted around until it was time to get up. I didn’t have enough clothes inside so went out, got everything ready then let them out once their collars were on.

The revoltingness is still high up in the popularity table but I’m actively discouraging them from going that direction. I’m pretty sure it used to be a sheep or goat. Isabella managed to sneak a lump of it and took it near to the water’s edge. I then persuaded her as well as the rest of them, that this is not what I want them to do. We’re having a little practice walking closer together which will be useful when there are more people around in the summer.

Kostas joined us briefly as he searched the rocks for salt. He didn’t stay long as pickings were not at all rich. Another guy was out there only a few days ago. With no one pumping water, there will be little salt. There were no other excitements other than Frank being out and about. He had a brief conversation with Sasha then she joined Isabella for some important sniffing around.

I cycled to Paleochora via Panorama and completed my trip around the town. There were no stops as I had everything for the DDs. I wended my way back admiring the calm, blue sea. I then had time to exercise my brain before feeding the dogs. There would be no departures requiring my attention but one motorhome was expected later.

I put some washing in the machine and hung some up for Bona then dumped it in her new ironing room as I went to meet the first punter. The van was from England but I’m not sure about the bloke, his wife definitely. Their son-in-law, daughter and grandchildren are staying in T2 so they will be in the camping for four nights. He tells me another daughter may come to stay in the second half of August. I suggested he book the accommodation now.

I’d not been back long when I was called away for another arrival, a German couple staying for only one night. They’re in bay 2 and the others in bay 4. I need to think of something to do with Sebastian in bay 3. He has a few more days until his present month runs out. I plan to move him elsewhere as I need the bay. Georgia doesn’t want any vans near the beach so I need to be more creative as I’ve effectively lost eleven potential spaces…

I went to the bar to connect up the till used to record the restaurant sales. They don’t have a separate card machine and the other is 2G as we don’t seem to have 3G anymore. After some fiddling around, I managed to get it connected up. Not that it’s a big deal as we can download all the transactions from its memory at the end if needed.

The washing is dry but can stay on the line as I can’t be bothered to take it down. I’ve yet to visit the kitchen to discover today’s culinary delight. I think the doggy rice is ready so I’d better feed them although they are being quite quiet at present.

Warmer and sunnier than yesterday especially in the morning. I was wearing only a t-shirt and shorts riding to Paleochora. The first time this season.;
