This is more like it!

The forecast for the next few days is much more encouraging.

As you can see, these two are more grown-up now and seem to spend more time trying to kill each other than anything else. There is also a dominance situation as they both wish to be top dog. Tricky really as that’s me!

Yesterday’s weather stats

Notice that it was warmer in Lewes than in Crete – unless you compare the averages of course!

After my long outing to the supermarket in Kountoura, I am sitting down with a cup of tea. Boris is still in his bed where I left him and Dave, for a change, was the one I left tied up outside. It was too hot to take Dave with me as it is quite sunny, and the smallest, who makes the most noise, seemed to be full of beans. I took him for his first excursion into the big outside world complete with lorries, buses and cars. He managed to walk as far as the supermarket which is, in fact, not much further than if we went on our morning walk. The difference, of course, was that it was new and he didn’t have any of his little friends with him. I left him tied up with the gas bottles outside the shop whilst I was inside and he hid around the back of them.

When I came out I could see that it was getting all too much for him so I shoved him in a spare Tesco shopping bag which I had brought along for the purpose. He seemed to enjoy his trip in the bag so I carried him 3/4 of the way back but let him do the last bit back into the camping. Usually, he is full of energy, but now he has crashed out in the bottom of his crate. He has his own personal accommodation as you can see from the picture.

The yellow crate you can see to the right, which contains 5l of water, is put on top of the brown crate to stop the little blighter getting out.
