Last time it was an excavator working up the road. This time I think it is the machine which cuts the road to install new broadband.
As we left for Anydri for lunch, we could see the machine on the road. When we got back, Maria announced the telephone cables were cut so there’s no phone or Internet.
It took over a week to fix it last time so hopefully, it will be quicker this time.
‘Lunch’ was very pleasant and this morning was quite busy with calls and IT stuff.
I called the vet in Chania to arrange an appointment for Dave at 12:30 tomorrow. Anne has to be at the airport at 13:00 so Dave and I will be dropped off on the way to the airport and picked up on the way back. Ursula and Tony will probably stay at the airport to see Anne off giving time for the vet to do her thing.
No other news of any importance as of this moment.
I don’t enjoy writing emails on my phone but it’s all that works at the moment until the broadband and telephones are fixed.
