Cold and windy III

The Small Dogs are a little fed up now as the sun has moved round, leaving most of their compound in the shade.

Boris has just returned from a visit inside the van. I suspect he had designs on getting comfortable on one of the seats but found them all to be occupied by Brown Dogs. The Brown Dogs are relatively small however are able to take up considerable space.
Things have been a bit difficult between Boris and the Brown Dogs lately as they don’t seem to be getting on so well. Boris lies on the floor in front of the heater vent in the evenings making access to the benches above difficult. It’s necessary to pass through his airspace to get to the bench above. Obi is the most agile of the Brown Dogs and easily skips up onto the bench above. Luis, being a small, round dog with short legs, finds it difficult to get up so will sit and make Strange Dog Noises until I pick him up and plonk him back on the bench. Fido is the same, but is perfectly capable of getting there himself. Sometimes he decides to go for a drink in the night, requiring going down to the floor. Down is easy but up is harder. He tries to get me out of bed in order to lift him back onto the bench. I suggest that he either gets on with it or goes elsewhere. Recently he has been occupying the dashboard space by the windscreen. I put a remnant of the CJ at Skippers blanket there for him but it has to be quite cold next to the glass at night.
It is relatively still at present however there are sudden very strong gusts of wind which cause the awning tent to flap wildly. Boris was even awoken from his slumbers!
