Eating in

It seemed to be neverending this morning. There seemed to be no end to the number of circuits I needed to complete my goal of 5.3km.

Only yesterday, I completed another km in less time. It only goes to show what a difference there is between running in cooler temperatures and on hard ground. Soft sand is definitely much more demanding.

A visit to Petrakis was required but a cup of tea was in order first. The wind was quite strong and appeared to be blowing from virtually every direction of the compass.

Back eventually from town, I prepared my breakfast then went to join Ursula and Tony outside there cabin.

Some light IT support work followed by a lengthy telephone conversation with Matthew regarding his huts and letting them out to make money.

I started making the spinach and rice for this evening. This time I cooked the rice separately before adding it to the onions.

After the evening walk, we completed the doggy duties then Ursula and Tony came round to eat as it was still too cold and windy outside their hut.

I tidied up then went to bed.

There are a couple of noisy dogs barking not far from the camping. Georgia’s dogs were also barking as she has gone to Chania presumably to put Janne and Erica’s car at the airport.
