Lazy Sunday

It was very cold when Καλή and I went for our morning jog over the Downs. I had seen that it was only 3℃ so took the precaution of adding an extra layer as well as taking my ‘gloves’. Apart from the cold, it was a sunny, clear morning so well worth making the effort. Again, I was the only human being exercised by their dog as everyone else was languishing in their pit.

I lay on my bed to complete the previous day’s blog before having a shower and some breakfast. I stayed with Καλή while Eleanor went off to church. Shortly after her return, I walked into town to LBS to try out some ideas I had regarding one of their backup devices. I have now concluded the device is defective having tried various disk combinations from another working NAS.

I wandered down to Waitrose to purchase some food for the evening to find the store quite busy. At least it wasn’t raining like my previous visit. Back at LBS, I did a full data backup before leaving to walk back to Glebe Close. A morning run and a walk into town and back closes my Move ring nicely.

Sunday never really got warm only to reach 12℃ in the afternoon. There was no rain but the wind kept the temperature low. I’d put my heavy fleece in the washing machine following the previous day’s garage clearance but applied additional layers to make up for it.

Eleanor and I watched some episodes of season II of ‘Allo ‘Allo before retiring to bed. It was, after all, getting on for 21:30! I concluded that I wouldn’t stay awake long enough to write my blog so slept through some YouTube videos instead.
