More earthquakes

I didn’t need to get up during the night to let Isabella out although she was keen to be let out once my alarm went off. It was not so cool this morning and there was little wind. We did our thing, no one disappeared and we went back to the camping to swap Isabella for Luis, Oskar and Charlie. It was a clear morning so we didn’t require a torch once we were away from the track through the field.

We went down to the end of the Promontory as usual and then crossed the rocks. Isabella did quite a good job of keeping up and not annoying the others too much.

Skinny and I set off for Kountoura after I’d fed the cats and changed into my running gear. No thicker top was required today as it was warmer and there was no wind.

I prepared my breakfast then sat down with my computer to read my emails however there was little of interest.

It was quite warm and sunny so I decided to take Isabella for a walk before making my weekly telephone call home. On our return to the camping, we chatted to Peter and IZO played with Isabella until some more interesting dogs came along. We visited the Swiss Couple who amused Isabella until she fell asleep on their doormat.

It was time for my weekly call so we went back to the van. She slept soundly for the duration of the call which was the desired effect. After a spot of lunch, I went down to the kitchen to figure out a way to move the CCTV camera from inside to the outside as the kitchen is closed for the winter. I discovered a gap in the roof timbers large enough to push the power wire through under the eves outside. I screwed the camera up under the eves on the corner of the kitchen then pruned some of the eucalyptus branches which were dangling down in front of the camera.

There were a couple more earthquakes and I can’t actually remember how many there were today.

The Evening Walk went quite well as the AirSoft guys were just leaving as we arrived. Isabella managed to get separated from the others as she was probably distracted by the AirSoft crew so we had a peaceful walk without her. We found her making a racket on the wrong side of the compound fence when we got back. She is now crashed out in a heap having demolished her supper. I reckon she’d eat until she exploded if offered the opportunity.

Uninspiring weather from Monday onwards

It’s warm enough to still be sitting out writing my blog at 19:38 so we won’t need any heating or to have the door shut tonight. Skinny is keen to go inside as he likes to watch TV and I think I’ll join him.
